Project steps: 

• Initial workshop – What is waste and why should we care about it? Interactive presentation on plastic and food waste and its impact on the environment. Use of short videos and quizzes (e.g., Kahoot). Group discussion: What are we already doing right? Where can we improve? 
• Waste audit (one week) Students and teachers measure the amount of plastic waste. All data is recorded in simple tables (e.g., how many plastic bottles). They create posters with the data and hang them around the school. 
• Brainstorming and action plan Students think about: How can we reduce waste? Examples of ideas: Use water bottles instead of plastic bottles. Plastic-free theme days. Posters with warnings: "Eat it, don't throw it away!" or "Bring your own bottle!" Each class creates a mini action plan. 
• Waste-free week – ACTION! Each class has a week without (or with less) waste. We measure progress and compare it with the initial situation. Every day, we announce the "heroes of the day" – the most sustainable class or individual. 
• Conclusion and presentation Students prepare an exhibition or presentation: posters, videos, photo collages showing the process and results. They invite parents, teachers, and other classes.
• Results and impact: Students develop critical thinking, teamwork, and responsibility. The school reduces waste and inspires others (perhaps even the local community!). Students see that they have the power to make a difference – and that motivates them!
