Food waste is a current and serious problem that we have decided to address as part of our school activities. One of the main goals of our initiative is to reduce the average daily amount of food waste in the school cafeteria. Lunch often includes fruit, yogurt, or cereal bars. However, not everyone likes these foods—and they often end up in the trash. 

To prevent this, we have created a special area in the cafeteria called "The Generous Table" and "Let's Give Food a Second Chance." Children can put unwanted food on this table instead of throwing it away. Other students can take it and eat it – giving the food a second chance. 

In this simple way, we learn not only not to waste food, but also to be considerate, responsible, and supportive of others.
