At the higher vocational school, in the cosmetics program, we strive to reduce plastic waste. We generate a lot of it when working with customers, so we diligently separate all waste. Where possible, we buy products in environmentally friendly packaging and in the largest possible packaging, which saves money and the resources used in the manufacture of these products. We encourage students to drink tap water from their own bottles to minimize the use of plastic bottles. We are aware of the value of water as a resource, so we do not use it unnecessarily, e.g., when washing our hands or working with clients.

The school is surrounded by a large courtyard with plants and grass. After mowing, we use the grass for compost and to improve the soil for flowers.
