The multi-grade class 3A (grades 4–8) is taking on the challenge of reducing plastic waste in the following ways:

  • Waste Detectives (raising awareness)
  • Waste by the Numbers (weighing, analysis)
  • Finding and using plastic-free alternatives.
  • Setting up an upcycling workshop.
  • Outreach (parents, community)
  • Planning and implementing a sustainability day at school
  • A schedule still needs to be drawn up.
