Superheroes fighting against food waste
This poster project presents food as a team of superheroes fighting against food waste. Each food item (such as a carrot, apple, bread, and banana) is transformed into a unique hero with special powers and personality. Together, they protect themselves from the “evil trash bin,” which represents unnecessary food waste.
The idea is to help young children emotionally connect with food by giving it character and voice. Through playful and colorful visuals, the poster encourages children to see food not as something disposable, but as something valuable that deserves care.
The message is simple and accessible: everyone can become a “food hero” by not wasting food. The project combines creativity, storytelling, and environmental awareness in a way that is understandable and engaging for preschool children.
The poster was created as part of a thematic project about food, sustainability, and reducing waste. It was integrated into regular classroom activities, including art, discussion, and group collaboration.
