The School of Life Sciences at HAW is committed to reducing plastic waste. As the Faculty of Life Sciences, we value sustainability and are very interested in reducing plastic and food waste. Among other initiatives, the faculty has installed water dispensers on campus for refilling personal water bottles to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles. This measure is also being implemented at other HAW locations.
