As a school, we launched a special initiative this year and wanted to hold plastic-free exams during the subject and preliminary exams at our school, which took almost three weeks. That's why we only served homemade drinks (flavoured water) in our own glass carafes this year. The recipes for this flavoured water were created by the class supervising our water school project, and there was a new creation every day. Various herbs were also grown for this purpose by another class in the school garden. We are also continuing to work on reducing plastic waste in our school and, in the coming year, we want to work with a company to purchase vending machines without bottles, where pupils can fill their own bottles (these will be purchased by the school at the beginning of the school year and signed) with their drinks. As a school, this will save us a lot of plastic waste and greatly reduce our consumption of plastic bottles. I hope our project and plans have convinced you.
